    According to the NCA website an on-site visit to Trinity is scheduled for 11-10-03. If NCU gained RA, Trinity may be next.

    Yes. While the NCU says that one of its criteria is that the school has a history of ethical behavior, the NCU may have a blind eye to the years of deception consisting of Trinity's overblown claims for accreditation and utility.

    So, I would not be suprised if you're right...at least to masters level.

    If on the other hand, Trinity's DA in Bib/Theo gets accredited, then I will be surprised. But, I don't know, are there other USA accred doc programs in such areas where accred MAs are not required, nor any entrance exams, nor any evidence at all, such as a thesis, that one is able to do rigorous doc work? Are there other USA docs in Bible where no Biblical language is required and where the profs give no probing remarks on submissions to encourage further learning? Are there other USA docs where both undergrads and doc candidates use the same cassettes and textbooks?

    But stranger things have happened and per chance NCU has adopted an an attribute of God, ie, showing unmerited favor
    :rolleyes:

    YEP!

    Talked to a guy today briefly about Trinity. He is adjunct at a college in Kentucky. He is going to Trinity adn said he has the inside scoop that they WILL be accredited by January 05!!!

    He also said that they were dropping the doctorate program he was in and he had to transfer to another program. He said he wasn't going to lose all of his courses he was taking and only had to pay 600 dollars for the switch. LOL.

    He also said that if "you" wanted to enroll right now, they would be accreddited by the time you graduate.

    :D

    You know, this one is tough.

    If they did accredit the DA, that would be good (although the TTS DA is kind of garbled from the original design of the DA degree as a pedagogue's research degree). The more DA programs, the better; wish I were in one.

    But everything is sleazy about this outfit and its dimwit Doppelgaenger in Evansville: history, practice, price gimmicks, Liverpool, Canterbury, Nipsnick (OK maybe maaaybe per se but used badly by TTS), manic advertising, etc., etc.

    My earlier contact by phone and e-mail with Lil Nakutis at the NCA office said there had been no contact at all between TTS and NCA; this application apparently began almost immediately following that exchange of information. Apparently.

    I wish I were sufficiently realpolitisch about the DA to wish this well despite everything;
    I jus' caint, maw, I jus' caint.
