There's a new "ACU" in town: American Central university, at http://www.acuniversity.org/. An hml comment on one of its pages is as follows:

    <!--<input type="hidden" name="option2" value="http://www.amercoastuniv.org/thanks.asp">-->

www.amercoastuniv.org was the short lived American Coastline University site that appeared to be independent of the www.amercoastuniv.edu version of ACU.

    perhaps a related site?

The "Transcript Builder Solution" site at
    http://www.transcriptbuilder.com/
    claims that its clientele includes:

    St. Regis University
    Saint Leo University
    American Coastline University
    Al Qasim University
    Abacus University

The IP address of the site is 66.96.82.254 and the domain registrant is
    atif hameed [email protected]
    92 42 5853153
    eTechsol.com
    33 k/l Model Town
    Lahore,Punjab,PAKISTAN 54000

This is the same IP address as used by the short-lived www.amercoastuniv.org version of American Coastline University and the current American Central University at www.acuniversity.org.

Their product looks like a tool for producing your own transcripts, graduation letters, etc.

    Smells fishy.

That is preposterous. idetc.org accredits the same institutions as DETC.
    Wow.
    What next?

hmmm... actually I think I know of this kind of activity.
Actually my dad told me that he read from a Pakistani newspaper about degree mills operating out in Pakistan .

Someone created a Degree Mill by the name of AXFORD (as opposed to Oxford) and even the diplomas were identical in look and feel to the Oxford degrees... That was quickly brought down by local authorities.

Just when you thought people were getting the idea of not pursuing this kind of rediculous endeavor, another degree mill started out by the name of WAXFORD...

    AXFORD and WAXFORD?!?!?

I mean comeon!! holy frikkin crimson tides!! Like, if you have to cheat, at least be smart about the darn thing! lol

I was appalled by this news... now looks like there's a new "mill" on the block. What a waste of paper!

this one is out of this world

    From online-degrees.biz:
    High School Diploma $350
    Associate Degree $450
    Bachelor Degree $595
    Master Degree $695
    Doctoral Degree $1195
    Associate/Bachelor $945
    Bachelor/Master $1295
    Master/Doctoral $1695
    Assoc/Bachelor/Master $1640
    Bachelor/Master/Doctoral $1850

Wow they even have highschool diplomas ... and look at the amazing price! Just 350 USD and no sales tax!!! lol
And look, you can build your entire higher ed "history" in seven days hahaha

Makes me wonder why I spent 6 years dragging my @$$ through campus doing what I did

If I ever meet these freaks in person, Ill be sure to give them a piece of me

BTW galanga, according to the contact info on transcript builder, our esteemed friend Atif Hameed is a "PhD"... wonder where he bought, oh I am sorry, "earned" that one from lolz

Anyone or any organization affiliated with St. Regis cannot be legitimate. This list of clients have one thing in common: They are less than wonderful!

These sites we have mentioned so far, don't hold a candle to what I am about to show you :D

    http://bogusphd.com

This is what I would call an AUTHENTIC fake degree!!

39 $ yeah you heard it!! 39 USD for a degree... doesn't matter if it's a diploma or a doctorate! ;) It's all the same to them hehe

But one thing I do appreciate on their site is that they are outright in your face... they don't waste time telling you it's fake... so at least one knows what he's getting into :D Plus they do stress on the fact that they wont forge degrees. Let's hope they are up to the challenge :)

For the record, William Howard Taft University has no connection with the "International DETC." I suspect this is the same with all the schools listed.

This morning I sent a demand that Taft's name be removed from this site. A previous demand we went to the "United States DETC" last year was honored.

I bought a fake Master's degree on eBay a while ago, and it looks much better than those offered by this web site (and was less expensive).
    Shop around.

:) it was meant to be a joke, oxpecker... ;)
Just that I was quite overwhelmed by all this fake degree business, that I couldn't help but flood this thread...
Since this thread started, I have tried to do some research in this "area" and seen some really interesting ideologies, such as, a so-called diploma cirtificate saying "Hitherto, we award so-and-so, the degree of Doctor of Heavy Metal" lol
Its a wild world out there to say the least. But good entertainment too :)

Why joke about it? Go ahead and buy yourself one. You'll be happier after you do. I am.

It's much cheaper and safer (except in one state where it's a felony) to just award yourself your own diploma from a made up school name. Go all the way and make up a field also, just remember that Doctor of Thinkology has already been used.

This is what I did. The "university" is named after the town in which my employer is based (and a town that otherwise has no higher educational institutions). And the "degree" is a Master of <function of my department>. All I got from eBay was a beautifully printed diploma -- which is much better than anything I could print myself (and better than my real degrees from Cape Town, Stanford, and London).
